SDA Home Choices Pty Ltd (ABN 39 621 993 799) ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Information we collect. When you use the forms on this website, we collect the information you provide: through the contact form, your name, email address and message; through the report request form, your name, email address, phone number, and any role, organisation, state or comments you provide. We also collect limited, aggregated technical information through privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (for example page views and general location), which does not identify you individually.
How we use your information. We use it to respond to your enquiry, to deliver the SDA Market Report and related research you request, to provide and improve our services, and, only where you have opted in, to send you relevant research updates.
Disclosure. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate the website and communicate with you, including our hosting and analytics provider (Vercel), our transactional email provider (Resend), our email service (Microsoft 365), and our customer relationship tools (Notion). These providers may store data outside Australia.
Email and consent. Consistent with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), we only send marketing or research emails to people who have opted in, and every such email includes an unsubscribe option.
Cookies. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless.
Security and retention. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Your rights. You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you, and you may ask us to delete it. To do so, or to make a privacy complaint, contact us at research@sdahomechoices.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
